Volleyball used to be one of the most popular sports in our school. Unfortunately this year the training schedule wasn't fulltified. Let's hope that the number of people interested in this optional subject will rise as the new school year begins.

Girls from prima to kvarta could take part in the volleyball training, with previous experiences or without them. Volleyball matches took place once every two weeks on Sunday. So the girls could try out playing against other, unknown teams. The trainer role was passed between two professors of this school, Zdeněk Sklenář and Radek Musil, but in the past few years only professor Musil was leading the team. Our volleyball achievements can't be underestimated.

Every year the younger (prima-kvarta) and the older (kvinta-oktáva) teams, both boys' and girls' ones take part in high school tournament in Zastávka. Except for few second and third places, our teams have claimed victory and also advanced into finals in Znojmo. Our students' biggest achievement occurred in the year 2018, when the older girls' team claimed first place. Unfortunately this year, because of financial reasons, nationwide finals have been canceled
