MONDAY (4.4.)
This special week began with an opening ceremony in our comfortable studio. Right in the morning we went to the studio, slightly anxious and excited. After few thrilling minutes, we were introduced five trainees who were planned to spend the coming week with us. They introduced themselves as: Jelena Kokic, Fiorella Díaz Suaréz, Madalina Plesoiu, Jacyara Carvalho and Jevgenij Kapustin. Then, unfortunately, we were all scattered to our classes and returned to our duties. However, in our minds we lived with an idea that the whole week will be unique.
And as we expected, during the Monday morning we had the opportunity to meet our trainees, namely the German-speaking half of our class were assigned (very pleasant) Russian – Evgeniy, and to the French-speaking half the energetic Romanian - Madalina. With their help we discovered other cultures and different world views.
Spending lunch with Brazilian Jacyara was also very nice, but we - students could not attend trainees sightseeing tour across Šlapanice, culminating in a local sweetshop with coffee and cake. Madalina and Jevgenij visited trade and entertainment centre of Vaňkovka at the afternoon.

TUESDAY (5.4.)
In the morning we were visited by energetic, cheerful, friendly and very impulsive Romanian girl Madalina. Of course she presented her culture, not just the facts about Dracula but much more and so we were able to compare our customs afterwards.
After school activities, the whole group of trainees surrounded by many students decided to enjoy Brno's sightseeing . They visited the Square of freedom with its controversial nevertheless beautiful astronomical clock; then the Denis' orchard and the top of the tour was surely the ascent to the St. Peter's and Paul's cathedral. Despite Jevgenij decided not to go and preferred to branch of, the girls were fine with that. The whole pleasant afternoon was naturally ended by few Czech beers in a picturesque pub.

WEDNESDAY (6.4.)
Another culture understanding was now related to Croatia. For us it's of course one of the most frequented tourist destinations. Nevertheless the presentation was really interesting because we didn't know some facts at all. What was a great pleasure for Jelena was the fact that she's able to buy her favourite Croatian meal – burek in Brno.
Because in our group was a domination of female gender, the single boy was outvoted and so we could be facing the Brno-beauties, now with the cover „second hand – tour“. This little trip was successful because the foreign girls looked content and so we were able to get the day done in the restaurant – The Pub.

THURSDAY (7.4.)
We spent the morning with Madalina again, this time we were not divided to two groups and even though some of us heard the presentation for the second time, it was still interesting. Customarily we started our afternoon with a trip to Brno (like Šlapanice wasn't enough). This time we reached the castle Špilberk, however it was not possible to go in so we missed one cold but great tour in local catacombs. Even the strong wind was not able to spoil that famous view on the vast, never-ending area of Brno's nature at all. Especially for its dominants as the hospital in Bohunice or the well-known monastery on Mendel's square.

FRIDAY (8.4.)
During the whole great week we were looking forward to Friday morning because we were planned to have the “block”. To be honest we were falling asleep a bit in the first part, but who wouldn't in the morning. But after few minutes of conversation with Madalina and Jelena we came to enough. And in addition we were able to show our culture to foreign students in a different way than visiting pubs. The girls were able to try our traditional food and drink, listen to our music (modern but also Kája Gott) and to watch our great evening-fairy tail The Molee.
The second half with Jacyara and Jevgenij was not purely girlish. We danced for almost two hours. First we tried Brazilian dance – Salsa under guiding of real Brazilian dancer. And in the end we wore down to AIESEC's classic dances.
After the enjoyable, full of dance morning, our trainees decided to burst through the magic of cooking. And so they met together at one student's house and each trainee prepared some typical meal of his country. What to add? It was a great and relaxing afternoon, full of good mood and foreign energy. And the evening? They spent it in a Czech way by sitting in a pub and talking about their memories and experience. What could be better?...

TUESDAY (12.4.) - little surprise...
Since almost all of us said goodbye to foreign students on Friday, it was surely a surprise to see them again in our English conversation, when Madalina and Jacyara sailed in. after few seconds of staring to each other we started to listen their complains. They were obviously obsessed with their new students who were supposedly incredible, ignorant and without any tendency to do anything. And so they repeated many times that we are just the best school they have visited and that they would think something worse about Czech republic if they hadn't meet us. Yeah, for us it was a pleasant conclusion of this whole distinct event.
