About project
AISEC is a global, nongovernmental, nonprofitable organization managed by students. Young people gain here experience, contacts and help to develop themselves. This organization aims to the world peace and the fulfillment of human potential. It was established in 1948 and has about 50,000 members in more than 1,700 universities and 107 countries. The Czech Republic has 330 members and over 200 of them annually arranges internships abroad.
EDISON (Education | Drive | Internationality | Students | Opportunity | Network) is a project under AIESEC organization. Five to eight foreign students are selected through fair selection process. They visit the Czech Republic and live in families and attend school with the locals. They will spend one whole week at the school. The project aims to offer students a chance to know better other cultures and make new and useful contacts. Students also develop their communication skills in other languages.
