Process of program Edison

At the beginning of April special news about foreign visitors started to spread through our school. Information were uncertain and mysterious.
One week before everything was started the information became clearer. Two members of organization AIESEC visited our school and explained what exactly AIESEC means and how everything works. Five students from all over the world are going to arrive to our school. They will be in our lessons to teach us and tell us a lot of new information about their mother countries. They also offered us a possibility to accommodate the students in our own houses and to care about their free time. And what suddenly happened, every student has his own buddy very quickly.

The important day was here. All the students from school gathered in our art atelier and we together welcomed Jacyara from Brazil, Fiorella from Peru, Mandalina from Romania, Jelena from Croatia and Jevgenij from Russia.

After short introduction everything started!
Our international guests went to the classes and showed us their own presentations about culture, food, law in their countries and also about themselves.
During the week almost every class had a block. We spent all the day with our trainies and danced, ate, sang…

For better idea I will tell you how did it work in our class:

On Monday our class was visited by Jevgenij from Russia. We could vote which of his presentation about Russia we would like to see and chose two presentations. About sport and teenage rights in Russia. And we also found out a lot of other interesting facts, for example that Putin has black belt in KARATE.

Next day our class was visited by a girl from Croatia. Her name was Jelena. She divided us to smaller groups and we tried to thing about her culture and remember everything we knew about Croatia. After short brainstorming she completed our knowledge. In return we told her a bit about our culture and our country.

On Wednesday we had three lessons about these unknown cultures. Half of our class was thought by girl from Peru called Fiorella. She told us how to flirt with girls from Peru!! Instead of lesson of social science had we Evgenij and discussed together about Russian culture.
After lunch here was Croatian girl in our class and we spoke about food and drinks. The next day we gained a lot of new information about culture and festivals in Romania and Brazil. The most of us envied the Brazilian New Year´s Eve since every people meet on the beaches and swim in the sea at midnight. We were also surprised that all Romanians keep all their traditions and habits.

On Friday we had a morning block. The first half we spent with Madalina and Jelena. They prepared a game for us. We tried to realize what we remember from this week. And we cooked for them a fancy bread, found interesting videos about the Czech Republic and our famous songs. They loved Tepláky from Nightwork.

After that we spent time with Evgenij and Jacyara. We prepared for them our traditional songs and we also danced with them. In the end we learned a dance of AISEC.
